here i sit, babe nursing at my breast and i feel on my game. lucien and i saw a wolf today on the walcan road. my first wolf sighting ever, i love the walcan road for that. i've seen eagles and gulls and seals and deer and a beaver (my first and only sighting for that as well) and now a wolf. at first i thought that it couldnt be a wolf cause it was to yellow-orangey but now that i have googled wolf images i see that 'grey wolf' is a bit of a misnomer and that so-called grey wolves are actually quite varied in their colour range. anyway, on being on top of things, i have begun implementing a system for co-ordinating my housework. its called my household notebook, ive got cleaning schedules, phone lists, freezer inventory (havent done that yet of course), weekly menu plan etc. its not perfect and im not always doing it but i am making it part of my routine. i needed to apply more order to my life to make this homeschooling work. another reason for feeling so good right now (ive actually got some sort of organizers glow going on !) because i am up to date with luciens school log and ive been making time for creating lesson plans and activities, whew! my friend tara called me the other day asking about baby stuff and my advice to her was to expect less from herself and i realized that i am not taking my own advice, sound as i think it is. anyway ash has fallen asleep and jamie is finished plying me with mini cheesecakes so im off to find something to do.....hmmmmm
